Mayor Burns

Kevin Burns currently serves as the longest-standing mayor for Geneva, where he has been elected for more that 20 years. Before his current service, he was a Liberty Board Trustee for Geneva, Alderman for 1st Ward, and then Mayor since 2001.

Amy Eccher

Amy Eccher came to CCWF as a volunteer looking to match her analytical skills and business background with her desire to add value to a great cause. Amy brings a passion for analysis, and enthusiasm to be involved with CCWF.  She enjoys providing data insights and new learning that demonstrate the positive impact that CCWF is having in the community.    

 

Amy is the founder of StatCAT Consulting, a company specializing in advanced analytics and market research.  She provides insights on many household brands such as Harley Davidson, Callaway, and McDonalds. She designs surveys, conducts analyses, and interprets complex statistical and data issues.  Her consulting and insights provide strong, analytically founded solutions in many areas of research. Amy has taught in the area of quantitative psychology and conducted numerous statistical training courses.

 

Amy and her husband live in Geneva with their 3 shih tzu puppies. She has 2 adult daughters and appreciates when they are home and the house is full.  In her spare time, Amy loves going to plays and concerts. She also enjoys cooking, and therefore also running.

Sheriff Hain

Ron has served in law enforcement for over 22 years and has been credited with hundreds of major criminal arrests. Ron has worked in varying capacities, to include; narcotics officer, canine handler, SWAT Team leader, and developed, implemented, and supervised the Sheriff's Office Criminal Interdiction Team. Ron is a nationally recognized expert in interstate criminal and terrorist interdiction. 

 

Ron Hain has received five meritorious service awards and two Deputy of the Year awards for several successful major criminal investigations. He was also twice nominated for the Kane County Officer of the Year Award. Ron also received the nationally-presented "Relentless Award" in 2013 for his work in criminal interdiction. In his career, Ron Hain has seized over 4,000 lbs. of dangerous drugs and over $3,000,000 in illicit currency, along with hundreds of illegally possessed firearms associated with those crimes.

 

Ron was elected as Kane County Sheriff in November of 2018 and his team immediately implemented employment diversion programs into the jail, along with medically assisted treatment to support and redirect inmates with drug addiction issues. Sheriff Hain’s focus is to take a zero tolerance approach to street crime while providing positive life paths for incarcerated Kane County residents in an effort to drive down recidivism and crime rates.

Brian Magnan

Brian A. Magnan began his career as a financial advisor on August 30, 1993 when the Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 3,643. As a Managing Director- Investments, he provides total, coordinated investment planning and investment management services for a small group of affluent families, corporations, executives and non-profit organizations. His services are designed to help integrate your investments to your income tax, liabilities management, estate, retirement, insurance, and investment planning. In this capacity, Brian leverages

Wells Fargo Advisors open architecture platform of traditional and alternative opportunities. Brian holds a BS in Finance from Western Michigan University, and has earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification. Brian currently resides in Glen Ellyn with his wife Tiffany, and is the proud father of sons Calvin and Archer and daughter Blair. In his leisure time he enjoys all that the city has to offer as well as staying physically fit through endurance sports.

Chuck Miles

Chuck Miles, is a 30 year resident of Geneva. Currently retired after a 32 year career with Caterpillar, he is involved in various volunteer efforts. He is currently the President of Geneva Rotary, serves on the City of Geneva Strategic Plan Advisory Committee, and is an 11 year Board Member at the Association for Individual Development (AID). Chuck is a passionate advocate for affordable housing, developmental disability and mental health issues. He has served as an advisor to CCWF, providing input to its strategic planning and business processes. He has been training as a facilitator in the Best Start program and has just begun facilitating his first family class.
